Did server just go offline?

ok so i was in PvP to test my steel titan and see if it works on ppl. and i was xxbeastxx and then i lagged out and i still cant get online. it says "Error Connecting to Server." And i tried signing in with a random username and pass, but i still couldnt get online. So is server possibly down?
